The other day I was standing in a chain department store (which shall remain nameless because it will show how cheap I really am) when all of the sudden the idea for this apron came to me.
Just dropped into my head.
Except for the rick rack idea...that came to me from a customer.
I'm calling it Flirty Chic.
I can't explain it, but this is how I get apron ideas. It's like the apron is looking for someone to bring it to life and I am chosen as the host.
Or possibly it is because I likely had a dumb look on my face and the apron knew I would not be a challenge.
It made me wonder where I get ideas for aprons. Remember the movie Waitress with Keri Russell. She pours her emotions into her pies. She makes pies with names like Falling in Love Pie.
That's sort of my process. It's all emotion. No science.

I love this! If you made the middle layer out of a towel material, you could use it to wipe your hands on. I made one that is like that and I love it. No searching for a kitchen towel to dry my hands on.
