Since becoming a professional apron sewer, I would occasionally be asked if I was every going to publish any of my apron styles. The one shown above is, by far, the most requested. I have been promising people for months that this would be coming soon.
Finally, this week I was able to get the last of it done, put into a pdf format and ready to sell. The funny thing is this: I can sew this pattern, lickety-split, in about an hour; but it takes forever to write, photo, edit, re-photo, etc. The good news, though, is I am now a lot more savvy with the desktop publishing and have already begun a second apron pattern.
I have priced the apron so that anyone can afford it and I am hoping that people will send me pictures of their creations, which I will, in turn, share on this blog.
After all, my real goal is to connect women through aprons ~ only now they get to put their unique stamp on it!
I can't wait.....

I'm so excited about your pattern! I've loved your aprons for months but just hadn't bought one since I tend not to buy much for myself (mother of 3) I've just begun sewing not long ago and I'm thrilled about this pattern! I'm already imagining in my mind all of the girlfriends that I can make aprons for on their birthdays! Thanks so much - can't wait to get it!
