How I Avoid the Heat

Everyone in Texas deals with the heat differently...

For instance, you will see people cycling a la Lance Armstrong (Austin his hometown, you know). Did I mention I saw him once riding (at noon!) on Southwest Parkway...I digress...

I don't know what these people are thinking, but did they notice that it is 103 degrees in the shade!   Lance,  look what you started.

So, you won't catch me outside unless I can't avoid it ~ but you will find me safely tucked under a fan in an air conditioned sewing studio cranking out aprons and apron patterns

My self-imposed quarantine causes me to finish projects and create new ones.  One completed project is my latest apron pattern - just released today!

I love this pattern and hope some of you will be inspired to sew one up for yourself or a friend.  I've included easy to follow directions and lots of pictures.   Also, this is my first pattern with two different views.  One for the complete novice, and one with a few more details.

Perhaps later this week, I will begin my next (and most requested) pattern!

Sew long for now,
