It’s always nice when your hard work starts to pay off. A veggie garden is the perfect place to experience this. Everyday is a wonder filled with deliciousness just waiting to be picked. These sugar snaps will soon be saute’ed with mushrooms and salt in some olive oil. Mmmm.
Tomato plants are filled with hard green tomatoes waiting for the warm Texas sunshine to coax them into turning red.
Peppers have tiny little fruits that will grow and then ripen into shades of green and red.
The onions burst from the soil as though eager to show me how they prosper in their bed.
Beans and cucumbers climb towards the sun.
Zucchini and crookneck squash hide their harvest from anything that would snatch it away.
Okra and eggplant hold a promise for the future…

We're just getting ready to plant our veggies out, can't wait I love having fresh veggies to pick daily, it puts such a big smile on your face :)
