Strawberry Fields

Sweet, juicy strawberries - who doesn't love 'em!  I've actually been trying to grow strawberries in my nifty little garden and am beginning to think that the only strawberries that I'm going to see anytime soon are on this sweet little apron that I just posted in my Etsy store

When I went to purchase my strawberry plants in the fall, the nursery worker said, "You know, strawberries are a little hard to grow."  Well, just who did she think she was telling me this!  I AM a Master Gardener and I can practially raise the dead (plant, that is).  I can certainly grow strawberries!

Weeeellll, not so fast, Leslie.  I think I ignored them a wee bit more than I should've because I thinkin' we're not gettin' any strawberries this year - unless you count the ones on this apron!

You crack me up!
Don't give up on your strawberries just yet. Surely it is too soon in the season to be sure they won't give you a little something?
I'll be watching for some pretty little pics of your plants in blossom.

Stopping by from SITS. :)

I love this apron! Strawberries and cherries are two of my favorite fruits, both for eating and for adorable fabrics.
