We've had a bit of rain yesterday and last week . It is amazing what a nice soaking will do for an up-and-coming landscape.
All of these plants do well in low water situations, but a little rain can cause incredible growth and flowering.
All in all, I am really loving this garden. Neighbors who walk by always complement us on it. My HOA has not sent me a letter (Whew! I didn't really ask their permission). This part of the yard no longer has grass, so no mowing, fertilizing, or fear of lawn diseases. Best of all, we rarely have to water it.
